Be back soon, :blowkiss: !

Still not active

Wed Apr 19, 2006, 5:19 AM
Still not seeing much of me..

Mood: Busy Unimpressed.
Listening to: New Tool album
Reading: Yeah, like I have time to read..
Watching: See above..

OK.

Had the knee operation (3rd so far) in january, that went fairly well. But not all that good either :| . Seems my knee will never get better. I can walk normally, but can't run or play sports, which is a shame, because I'm becoming quite chubby as time goes by... Hope I'll find time for some activity.

TIME: is something that's very scarce at this point in my life. Work+University=no free time. The little I have I spend with my GF or family.

Therefore, no time for shooting my concepts or any other things for my private use.

Funny thing is though, I shoot more now than I ever did! I have to photograph a lot at work, and that makes me a happy camper. It's mostly commercial stuff so it won't be seen in a place like dA.

News:

:bulletblue: I finally have a nice lens to couple my 20D. The 24-70 mm f/2,8 L - highly reccomended, brilliant and - very heavy. (don't buy if you don't work out! LOL)

:bulletred: Got myself a print account! :w00t:

Have 1 print so far, we'll se how it goes from there...

Adios. :meditate:

[I will sometimes attempt to upload something here on dA, though can't guarantee much.. ]

Devious Journal Entry

Won't be seeing much of me..

Mood: Dead Unimpressed.
Listening to: The Mars Volta
Reading: Yeah, like I have time to read..
Watching: See above..

And here's a couple of reasons why:

________________________________________ _____

:bulletred: Got bored with dA (best to remove myself for some time before anything worse happens)

:bulletred: Have a :poo: load of work @ work.

:bulletred: I am at university again, doing an MA in Public relations (possibly an MBA even, we'll see  )

:bulletred: Have yet another knee operation soon.

Anyways, stay well all.. I'll be fine in case anyone worries. Soon be getting a new lens so shots will be coming ;)

[Many things will be finding their way to Scraps soon, haven't had time to do that yet  ]

The hidden agenda: behind everything.

:omg:

Mood: Disbelief Spooky.
Listening to: Queens of the stone age - skin on skin
Reading: I am currently reading the belowmentioned NEXUS ar
Watching: Lemony Snicket's - A Series of Unfortunate Events

I've been reading the NEXUS articles lately, and after every one I somehow feel worse than before. :(
They are scary, and as some might argue, untrue. I am inclined to believe most of them as my general perception of the world today coincides with most of what's written there. I certainly hope I'm wrong.

This one gave me the hee-bee gee-bees :paranoid: :
:pointr: Big Oil and the War on Drugs and Terrorism :pointl:

These articles feature interviews and reports from (today) independent people who have worked on the matters at hand.

Enough ramble, just go there and READ!

:pointr: NEXUS magazine :pointl:

Then tell me what you think. Are they full of :poo: or is it all possible? :|

[Expect a massive gallery-cleanup soon. Many things will be finding their way to Scraps. ]

Quotes!

Wed Jul 20, 2005, 5:13 AM
These should be read.

Listening to: Chris Rea - Looking for the summer
Watching: Top Gear - the 2005 series (a BBC programme)

I often put various quotes under my deviations and they always relate to the image I'm displaying.

I do it because there have been tons of people before me who said something in a better way than I ever will.

For instance, here's one on hypocricy (a thing I HATE in people):

A man generally has two reasons for doing a thing. One that sounds good, and a real one. ~J. Pierpoint Morgan

So, my reason for this journal (the one that sounds good, that is ;) ) is the fact that I never revealed the source for these quotations, and here it is:

The Quote Garden

Please do visit, and learn something

And the real reason for this journal... Well, I'll be a hypocrite, and won't tell you :p LOL.

[my dA activity will be lowered in the summer, due to vacations and stuff]
